Ángel Garcia Jermann has been cello soloist for eleven years of the Spanish Television Radio Symphony Orchestra and since 2009 is linked to Ibérico Cello Octet.
His repertoire ranges from Baroque to more contemporary music. He plays an instrument which is a true gem, a cello made by Matteo Goffriller in Venice in 1710 that was complemented with a bow by Nicolas Maline, in 1850.
In this concert he is accompanied by Brazilian pianist Kennedy Moretti, who currently resides in Spain and teaches at the School of Music of Catalonia, the International Institute of Chamber Music in Madrid and at the Conservatory of Music of Aragon
Together they perform a program consisting of works by Beethoven, Schumann and Spanish Romantic composers. The concert is part of the Cycle Cellobration within the XXXV International Music Festival of Deia.
