Six female jazz players from Holland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Cuba and Spain join forces in this ménage à six that is proposed by the new edition of the Palma Jazz Festival.
An interesting musical dialogue open to improvisation between the performers who, with different backgrounds and artistic personalities, share a certain interpretative weightlessness and overflow with talent.
Performers: Aga Derlak (piano), Blanca Barranco (double bass), Cecilie Grundt (tenor sax), Kika Sprangers (soprano sax), Marta Garrett (vocals) and Nailé Sosa (drums).
The Jazz Palma Festival is organized by the Palma City Council and is held from February 10 to 19, 2023 at the Teatre Municipal Xesc Forteza. This fourth edition programs seven concerts with international artists and groups, as well as a series of complementary activities related to the world of jazz.
