The most international Spanish artist is on tour in Spain presenting his latest album, Sirope. As is trademark, the album reached the top spot on the charts when it came on the market - last May 4 - becoming in only one week Triple Platinum.
Sirope is the tenth studio album by Alejandro Sanz, whodefines it as a balanced mix of pop, a bit of rock, funk and that flamenco touch that pervades his work.
In his thirty-year career, Alejandro Sanz (Madrid, 1968) has sold over 25 million copies worldwide and has won eighteen Grammy Awards, fifteen of them Latinos.
To the long list of awards can be added two more now, having been nominated for the Billboard Music Awards 2013 in the categories Latin Soloist of the Year and Latin Pop Latin Pop Album of the Year, with La música no se toca.
