The XLIV Deià International Music Festival begins with a concert in the Son Marroig music hall with the quartet Alban Kwartet, formed by Anne-Catherine Feltgen (violin), Isaac Pérez Riera (violin), Rodrigo de Freitas (Viola) and Glòria Expósito Pérez (cello).
The program consists of String Quartet No. 1 in G Major 'Primavera', K 387, by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791); Five movements for string quartet Op. 5, by Anton Webern (1883-1945); String Quartet No. 1 Op. 51, by Johannes Brahms (1833-1897); and Anton Webern's Langsamer.
The XLIV Deià International Music Festival is held from June 2 to September 29 with concerts at its various venues: Son Marroig (Deià), Sineu, Sa Bassa Rotja (Porreres) and Palau March (Palma). This year the Caló de s'Oli auditorium in Ibiza is also incorporated with a benefit concert for APNEEF. The pianist Alfredo Oyágüez Montero is its artistic director.
