The XXI Festival Alcúdiajazz begins with the Avignon trumpeter Alba Careta and her group, who present their second album Alades. The new album is preceded by the excellent debut they dad with Orígens, critically blessed that won the 2018 Enderrock Award for Best Jazz Album.
Alba Careta completed a master's degree in Jazz Trumpet at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Alades is the compilation of the artist's latest compositions inspired by the experiences of her years in Holland, which take shape in this new work through the most sincere and emotional jazz language.
The group is made up of Alba Careta (trumpet and vocals), Lucas Martínez (tenor sax), Roger Santacana (piano), Giuseppe Campisi (double bass) and Josep Cordobés (drums).
