Twenty-four Preludes of Chopin and many other Preludes newly created, written by prominent contemporary Spanish composers, is the program interpreted by these pianists as closing the Chopin Festival 2016.
French pianist Alain Planès became famous for the album of Chabrier and Janacek, a success that he has revalidated with his latest work Chopin chez Playel, made with an antique piano and has received the special award for A Choc du Monde de la Musique from the German magazine Fono-Forum.
The Mallorcan pianist Jaume Bartomeu has an elongated career with stage performances in Europe and South America. He has a broad repertoire that he has developed through monographics as a soloist, soloist with orchestra and choir and as a member of the Grup Instrumental Valencià.
He has made thirty recordings among which stand out the integral for piano from Fernando Rebla, Vicente Asencio, Joan Maria Thomàs, José Bàguena Soler, Teresa Català and Manuel Palau.
