She is one of the most acclaimed Spanish sopranos of recent times. Ainhoa Arteta debuted in 1990 at the Palm Beach Opera (Florida, USA) as Corinda in La Cenerentola by Rossini, and has since performed many concerts all over the world, including the White House with Bill Clinton in power and during the official visit of the President of Colombia.
The soprano from Guipuzcuana has also received several awards, including the Prize of the Hispanic Society of America for her contribution to the arts and in the Premios Líricos Teatro Campoamor 2014.
At the 3rd Festival MallorcÒpera she presents the program Cantares viajeros, accompanied on piano by Francesc Blanco. It consists of: Italian Ballads (Isaac Albéniz), Mallorca Barcarola (Isaac Albéniz), Four Spanish Classical Songs (Fernando Obradors), Six Old Spanish Songs (Federico García Lorca), Spanish Dance No. 5 (Enrique Granados), Collection of Old Style Tonadillas (Enrique Granados) and Song of the Dove (Francisco Asenjo Barbieri).
