'Adoració dels tres Reis d’Orient’ by Llorenç Moyà

A play by Llorenç Moyà that takes up the tradition of medieval Mallorcan theatre and conserves the metric of the popular works. This year, the councilors and councilors of the City Council of Alcúdia represent this work for the benefit of the Red Cross of Alcúdia.

Initially L’adoració dels tres reis d’Orient (The adoration of the Three Kings of the East) follows the process of oral transmission, although eventually collected in different written texts.

Represented outside the church premises, this play allows the actors to unleash their ability to improvise and criticize the authorities. Loves, misfortunes and public and private services are inserted into the traditional text.
