Swing music has become once again the rage on the dance floors almost a century after its emergence in the United States. The Cor Academy 1830, under the direction of Llorenç Gelabert, presents this concert with a selection of works of Cole Porter and George Gershwin - two leading figures of swing, the Medley theme of West Side Story and Little Jazz Mass by Bob Chilcott, an orthodox work in shape but transgressing in its content.
Featuring Tolo Gili (piano), Miquel Ferrà (bass), Salvador Font (drums) and soloists of Academy 1830.
