The Centre de Cultura Sa Nostra hosts this exhibition by the multifaceted artist Roig de Diego. Abisme is a series of paintings/sculptures whose theme is water, fundamentally the water of the sea and the oceans, with an environmental, psychological, lyrical and supportive reading.
To create this series, Roig de Diego has applied a research process for the treatment of disposable elements, which he has been experimenting with for years. In his work there are plastics, plant elements, minerals, ashes... Elements that he gradually incorporates in the research/practice process and that coexist alongside others of jewelry and bijouterie.
All this, as he is used to, with an ironic speech about the treatment of the value of things: "Treat garbage as if it were jewelry, and jewelry as if it were garbage."
