The musical groups Capella Mallorquina, directed by José María Moreno, and Palma Gospel Singers are the protagonists in 2023 of this unique musical event organized by the Sa Nostra Foundation and with the collaboration of Bankia. It combines instrumental music and choral singing with the excellent acoustics of the torrente de Pareis, an incomparable natural setting.
Almost 70 musicians will fill the impressive stage to tackle an eclectic repertoire with traditional Majorcan songs, such as Parado de Valldemossa, Una dona llarga i prima or La Balanguera, by the Capella Mallorquina.
For their part, the Palma Gospel Singers will perform the songs Holy Spirit, Let it be, Joyful Joyful, Center of my joy and At the table. To end the concert, the two vocal formations will sing together Total praise by R. Smallwood and Oh, happy day! by Edwin R. Hawkins.
