This year marks half a century since the founding of this small museum created in 1962 by New York painter and archaeologist William Waldren. To celebrate this, it organizes a program of activities from 15 to 30 September that take place in different scenarios of Deià.
It begins this evening at the Amphitheatre Joan Mas with a conference on Prehistoria balear, pasado y presente (Balearic prehistory, past and present), in which scientists and students who have participated in the excavations will discuss research, publications and on the evolution of the museum.
