23 Foto Jove

The courtyard of the Casal Solleric is full of color and creativity with the photographic exhibition of the 23 edition of Foto Jove, this year dedicated to the universe of Frida Kahlo.

In it have participated young people between 8 and 20 years of 26 primary, secondary and high schools in Mallorca,, who have experimented with photography and plastic researching the life and work of the Mexican artist. At the same time they have discovered the Mexico of the 20th century, of surrealism and of the great revolutions.

Foto Jove is a digital photography competition created and organized by Pilar Negredo with the support of the Education Council of the City of Palma, included in the program Palma Educa, and the Casal Solleric. 23 Foto Jove has delivered 28 prizes and 66 finalists, divided into three age categories.
