Sentits ( Senses ) is the subject of the new edition of this photography competition aimed at the view of young people. It is organized by Palma Fotogràfica, in collaboration with the Council for Education of the City of Palma, and has thirty awards. Two of them granted by ArtsMallorca.
The contest has three categories: 8 to 12 years, 13 to 15 years and 16-22 years. Although the organization offers photography workshops for schools participating in the competition, it is also open to young people who do not belong to any study center.
Participants in this 19 Foto Jove must make five pictures attending to every one of the senses: Sight, Hearing, Smell, Taste and Touch. The deadline for registration is January 23, 2014 and the deadline to deliver pictures is February 14, 2014.
