The journalist Antoni Ma. Thomàs is the director of the documentary 1229, el rostre ocult that now premieres at the Sa Nostra Culture Center. It focuses on the conquest of Mayurqa by the troops of Jaime I and offers an unprecedented vision of the defeated Muslims.
The documentary is based on what the Arabic manuscript Kitab Ta'rih narrates and features the participation of historians and archaeologists who specialize in the historical legacy of the Muslim domination of Mallorca.
