Santanyí City Council commemorates the arrival of Francisco Bernareggi in the town now a century ago with this exhibition at the Ses Cases Noves House of Culture. It brings together about twenty works that the Argentine artist dedicated to the landscape of this municipality.
Francisco Bernareggi settled in Santanyí in 1919, where he lived and worked until the end of 1936. With the outbreak of the Civil War he returns to his native Argentina. In 1949 he returned to Mallorca, where he lived until his death in 1959.
