La celebración del centenario el año pasado del nacimiento de Marià Villangómez ( 1913-2002) es el motivo de este conjunto de muestras dedicadas a la figura y la obra del poeta y escritor ibicenco. Después de la Guerra Civil ejerció como maestro durante muchos años, actividad que compaginó con la traducción y la escritura de poesía, narrativa, textos autobiográficos, teatro y libros de viajes.
La macroexposición que ahora se presenta en el Casal de Can Gelabert se aprosiva a su figura a través de los títulos siguientes: Marià Villagómez i Formentera, Cent anys del naixement de Marià Villangómez, Marià Villangómez fotògraf i terra natal y Estampes de Marià Villangómez.
