This project of the renowned concert pianist David Gómez (Wattwill, Switzerland, 1974) is staged in very special places, like demolished churches, prisons, abandoned factories, train stations, lighthouses, vineyards, castles...This charity concert is organized by the Official College of Balearic Dentistes in favor of ASPANOB (Association of Parents of Children with Cancer) on the World Smile Day.
Its scenic setting is also very unique, and consists of two hundred candles that illuminate the pianist while he carries out a program consisting of works by Ernesto Lecuona, Serguéi Rachmaninoff, Enrique Granados, Manuel de Falla, Frédéric Chopin, Astor Piazzolla, Ennio Morricone and Yann Tiersen. Also pieces by David Gomez as The Island, The Lighthouse or 16 years old, that transmit the cinematic character of his album The Island.
The pianist also offers the possibility of making dedications of songs by demand of the public, which he will read before playing the piece. You can choose from 16 songs, among which are some as well known as The Piano byMichael Nyman or Cinema Paradiso of Ennio Morricone - or make a request to the interpreter.
