The Russian violist Mikhail Zemtsov, accompanied by pianist Alfredo Oyagüez Montero, open with this concert the new edition of the International Music Festival of Deia. This festival is a member of the European Academy of Chamber Music.
The concert is held in memory of Jesse Levine, violinist and orchestra director who died in 2008. Levine was the first titular director of the Symphony Orchestra of the Principality of Asturias. They perform works by Shostakovich, Dowland, Britten, Kugel, Kreisler and Paganini.
