‘Xuetes, vides marcades per un llinatge’

Brunet and was elected Proyecto Escénico de Palma 2012 (Scenic Palma Project 2012) by the city council. In the play will be acting besides the director himself, Pep Galmés and Joan Carles Bestard.

The play takes place between files, documents and papers piled for centuries in the basement of an official building which has to be cleaned to be used for other purposes. The theme of the documentation found is always the same: the xuetes (Mallorcan Jews).

The conflict arises between the two officials in charge of cleaning the premises. One wants to finish the job as soon as possible and the other wants to submerge into the Mallorcan history. Through reading the documentation, he returns to a past full of experiences, injustice, revenge, passions and lives of others.
