Premiered uccessfully in February 1894 at the Teatro Apolo in Madrid, La Verbena de la Paloma is a zarzuelita (a type of zarzuela in one act) and is divided into three frames, with different scenery and staging. Includes very famous songs like Una morena y una rubia, ¿Dónde vas con mantón de manila? o Por ser la Virgen de la Paloma.
It is programmed into the 2017 Season Zarzuela Palma Auditòrium.
