The Cor de Calvia launches its latest production, this adaptation by Jaume Roca of the comic operetta Die Fledermaus (The Bat). Music by Johann Strauss (son) and libretto in German by Carl Haffner and Richard Genée, is based on a German comedy inspired by a French vaudeville Le Réveillon.
Released in 1874 in the Theater an der Wien in Vienna, it has since been part of the repertoire of operetta.

Acting: Jaume Roca (Gabriel von Eisenstein), Sílvia Fluxà (Rosalinde), Fanny Marí (Adel), Sergio Vazquez (falke), Roger Berenguer (Alfredo), Miquel Company (Frank), Tonina Vidal (Ida), Lola Rossello (Prince Orlofsky ), Jaume Bauza (Frosch), Jaume Esteve (Ivan), Marta Alcover (travessera flute) and Svitlana Bens (piano).
