The Lauseta Orchestra and the Escolania els Blauets de Lluc, directed by Ricard Terrades, take the stage of the Porreres Municipal Auditorium to offer this concert that will have Fauré's Requiem as its central axis. The concert will be directed by Xisco Amengual and presents a spectacular arrangement for three white voices and string orchestra.
The Requiem in D minor Op. 48 by Gabriel Fauré (Pamiers, France, 1845-Paris, 1924) is one of the most popular requiem masses. Written between 1886 and 1888, it consists of seven parts and is usually performed by choir and orchestra.
