'El tren de Sóller'

The train of Soller, with its traditional wooden wagons and its rattle, is one of the most famous tourist attractions of Mallorca. Now it gives title to this romantic comedy in musical format that tells the story of Susanna, a young German woman who travels to the island to find the man of her life.

His name is Miquel a Mallorcan whom she met on holiday in Greece. To do this she must take the Train of Sóller, where she meets characters from different cultures that will make her live a grand adventure with a happy ending.

El Tren de Sóller is the brainchild of German composer Klaus Hillebrecht, who lives in Mallorca since 2003 and in 2011 was nominated for the Emmy Awards. It is directed by Mallorcan Pedro Victory, who is also responsible for the audio-visual part of the work.

It features a local and international cast of twenty actors and musicians and is represented in Spanish, English and German. The scenario is the Sala Augusta of Palma, next to the station of the centenary Tren de Soller, a beautiful Art Nouveau buildingin the heart of the city.
