The great opera by Giuseppe Verdi, with libretto by Francesco Maria Piave based on the novel The Lady of the Camellias, is the main course of the V Setmana Lírica de Santanyí. The musical direction of the production is by Sergio Alapont, with staging by Aina Arbós and Yuko Mizutani as master Repetiteur.
It is interpreted by the Orquestra i Cor de Cambra of the Setmana Lírica de Santanyí, with a lyrical cast consisting of Maia Planas (soprano), Nestor Martorell (tenor), Javier Landete (baritone), Mar Campo (mezzo-soprano), Pedro Calavia (tenor ), Francesca Roig (mezzosoprano), Àlvar Servera (barítone) and Pere Bonet (baritone).
