‘Travelling to nowhere’

The sum of art and science is the leitmotif of this new show created by dancer and choreographer Catherine Carrasco along with performer and Ph.D. in biomechanics Gaspar Morey. A scientist who started dancing in 2008, in 2010 he first collaborated with the balerina and in 2012 quit his job in the industry to establish himself as a freelance biomechanical consultant and dedicate more time to his artistic side.

The new joint work presented now, is a project of performative research joined with interactive technology, a method that allows them to deepen in the movement from their own language and in the sound produced by the movement.

Travelling to nowhere  is part of the program of the Teatre Infantil i Juvenil de les Illes Balears (Children's Theatre Festival Youth i Balearic Islands), which takes place from November 22 to 24 in Vilafranca de Bonany.
