'El tratamiento'

Five galvanic actors interpret a score of characters in this work written and directed by Pablo Remón, a montage that comes after his acclaimed 40 años de paz.

In the film industry, the term 'tratamiento' ('treatment') refers to the summary of a future film, the step prior to the script, which the author moves through different producers with the hope that eventually it will become a film. Most never occur.

El tratamiento is the story of one of those fortyish screenwriters in the midst of personal crisis and that of several characters who share the desire to write, their past, what they are and what they would like to have been.
