This documentary, directed by Mike Dibb, explores the life and work of legendary trumpet player Miles Davis (1926-1991), one of the most influential jazz musicians of the past 50 years. In addition to a tour through performances of all his periods, it includes interviews with Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, Clark Terry and Joe Zawinul, among other jazz greats.
The screening of The Miles Davis Story: So What? is part of Cinema & Jazz cycle, held from 12 to 15 November in the 9th edition of the Jazz Voyeur Festival. The films are shown in their original language with subtitles in Castilian, Catalan and French.
