With direction and dramaturgy by Marina Collado Bennasar, El silenci de les falzies is a story that talks about motherhood from two points of view (that of a mother and that of a daughter), with the desire to represent imperfect female characters and the abysses that open between what we want and what we can express.
Gloria asks her daughter Silvia to return to Mallorca to say goodbye to her grandmother, who is about to die. With this return to the island, they will have to confront the emotional distance and learn to breathe in a silence that overwhelms everything they say to each other.
Shortly after her arrival, Lola will appear, a deaf girl with whom she will be able to observe the dance of the falzies and recognize the difficulties of settling down and loving each other.
A co-production by the Teatre Principal de Palma, Marina Collado Bennassar and the company La Dislèxica performed by Mar Fiol, Miriam Garlo, Roser Linares Vives and Núria Prims. Languages: Catalan, Spanish and sign language. Recommended age: from 12 years.
