'La serva padrona'

The summer festival Fila U and the XXXV Temporada de Ópera present this production of La serva padrona, the most famous and performed comic opera in history. The Little Comic Opera by G.B. Pergolesi created an uproar and sparked an entire musical revolution in the 18th century, known as the Querelle des Bouffons, which changed the course of Western opera history.

Almost three hundred years later, La serva padrona continues to entertain and captivate all kinds of audiences.

This production has the musical direction of Andrés Salado and the stage direction of Ana Cuéllar. Participants Irene Mas (Serpina), Simón Orfila (Uberto), Joan Servera (Vespone) and the Orquestra de Cambra Illa de Menorca.
