Juan Echanove stars in and directs Ser o no ser, a Nick Whitby stage adaptation of one of the great comedies of the 20th century. Originally, it was a film directed by maestro Ernst Lubitsch and released in 1942 by United Artists, in the midst of World War II and the height of Nazism.
Ser o no ser (To be or not to be) is about theater and comedians, and has been the subject, in recent years, of various stage productions in various countries. The result is a hilarious and fast-paced theatrical artifact, full of brilliant dialogues, surprising plot twists and great complicity with the viewer.
The cast of actors is completed with Lucía Quintana, Ángel Burgos, Gabriel Garbisu, David Pinilla, Eugenio Villota and Nicolás Illoro.
