‘The King of the Savannah’

Dacapo Espectacles presents this ballet tribute to The Lion King with a deep respect for the original work. The King of the Savannah is an exciting journey into the heart of Africa, where dance, music and art come together to recreate the magic and strength of the story of The Lion King.

This show features an exceptional cast of 15 dancers, each selected for their talent and ability to embody the animals and emotions that inhabit the savannah.

The choreographies, by the Conchita Sansò dance school, are completely original and encompass contemporary, modern and traditional dance styles. Each movement of the dancers, from the powerful gestures of the lions to the agile leaps of the antelopes, carry with them an expressive intensity that reflects the beauty and dynamism of wild nature.
