'La Revoltosa' and 'La Verbena de la Paloma'

Two emblematic titles of Spanish lyric-drama that the Symphony Orchestra "Ciutat de Palma 'brings to Son Mas Castle in Andratx. La Revoltosa has music by Rupert Chapí  and libretto by José Lopez Silva and Carlos Fernández Shaw. Meanwhile, Tomas Breton was commissioned to compose the music of La Verbena de la Paloma and Ricardo de la Vega to write the script. Both are zarzuelillas, a type of operetta in one act. The cast consists of the sopranos Maria Luisa Corbacho, Margarita Rodriguez and Marga Mateu, Rodrigo Alvarez (tenor), Paul Lopez (baritone) and Miquel Cladera (bass).
