‘El Retablo de las Maravillas’

The company Morfeo adapts this work of Miguel de Cervantes, a fun satire on the hypocrisies of the Spain of the time. This adaptation includes, in addition to the evident Retablo de las Maravillas  (Altarpiece of the Wonders), a careful selection of fragments of various Cervantine works that give dramatic coherence to the whole of the work, such as El juez de los divorcios (The Judge of Divorces), El coloquio de los perros (Colloquy of dogs), Pedro de Urdemalas and Don Quixote de la Mancha, as well as aphorisms, letters and poetic singularities of the author.
