‘Reina Juana’

The actress Concha Velasco becomes Juana de Castilla in this co-production of Siempre Teatro and Grupo Marquina, with dramaturgy by Ernesto Caballero and direction of Gerardo Vera.

The historical character of Juana de Castilla, known as Juana 'la Loca', has been framed by a series of topics that this monologue, now tries to dismantle which profiles her as a lucid, enlightened and maternal woman who is very coherent with her conscience.

In Reina Juana  she tells us her experiences and accounts for the people who marked her life: her husband, Felipe el Hermoso; Her father Ferdinand el Catolico, who holds her in Tordesillas; And her son Carlos V, who ignores her.
