Carmen Marfà and Yago Alonso are the authors of La presència, a co-production between Sixto Paz Produccions and La Villarroel directed by Pau Carrió. It takes place during a stormy night; a night full of adrenaline and comedy in which the ghosts of a family will come to light.
Ernest and Sandra meet at their father's farmhouse to accompany him during his last hours of life. Miki, Sandra's partner, is also there to support them. While the brothers, who don't have much of a relationship, catch up, the doctor from the PAC arrives to visit him. A few minutes later, Climent dies. What no one expects is that the bell he used to call them with will ring again. If the father is dead, who rang it?
A series of confessions, of hidden truths, begin to come to light. Between the brothers, between the couple, and even with the doctor, who reveals a past of Climent that none of them knew about.
La presència is played by Anna Sahun, Pau Roca, Marc Rodriguez and Nausicaa Bonnín. Language: Catalan.
