This exhibition shows, for the first time, a selection of sculptures from the collection of the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Es Baluard. It focuses on works from the last quarter of the twentieth century and the first decade of this century, by Spanish and foreign artists.
The exhibition offers two aspects in the selection of the sculptures. On one hand, minimalism, conceptual art and land art, present in the work of Josep Maria Alcover, Andreu Alfaro, Pep Llambias, Gloria Mas, Fernando Megías, David Nash, Jaume Plensa and Jürgen Partenheimer.
On the other hand, the configuration with symbolic references or narratives, this area is represented by José Bechara, Daniel Chust-Peters, Kcho, Bernardi Roig, Baltazar Torres and Joana Vasconcelos.
