The XXV Festival de Poesia de la Mediterrània presents Parné, a show of creation and innovation of varieties, cuplés and magazine full of humor, which is born from the fascination for the cupletistas and the will to vindicate them by unearthing their words and forms, totally unapologetic, brave and politically committed.
Glòria Ribera - director, playwright, producer and star of the show - is committed to re-stimulating humor to recompose it and show the viewer what he wants to see and also what he doesn't. She talks to us about money as a recurring theme, both for having it and for not having it. She uses it as a common and provocative thread, from which she draws to talk about the precariousness of her own creative and artistic work, among others, and to break with conventions and bring current issues to the stage.
Parné is a co-production between FiraTàrrega, TNT Terrassa Noves Tendències Festival, Fira Mediterrània de Manresa and Antic Teatre. Languages: Catalan and Spanish. Recommended age: from 12 years.
