The Zaragoza-based Javier Aranda company premieres Parias in the Balearic Islands, a hand-puppet show for young and adult audiences.
Parias is a puppet show for adults, in which the relationship between puppet and puppeteer reaches a disturbing intimacy. The puppets symbolize human degradation, and their stories spark reflections on morality and the conscience of life. Influenced by classical theater, Parias addresses themes such as poverty, self-deception, redemption, and violence.
