Directed by Antoni Rossello, the company La Lloriguera shows this stage adaptation of the novel by Mallorcan writer Llorenç Capellà (Montuïri, 1946). It was published in 1972 and that same year won novel award Les Illes d'Or.
Pallasso espanyat, which was filmed in 1976, tells the story of a prisoner who, after the Civil War, writes letters from a jail in Castilla to his Mallorcan family. It is interpreted by Jaume Mut and Sebastià Gelabert, with staging by Pere Sansó.
