‘El Pajarito Freddy’

Teatro del Finikito presents this family show of puppets and marionettes with live music. El Pajarito Freddy is the staging of a musical tale.

It tells the story of Freddy through different episodes illustrated with sound and musical numbers. On a mat and with the help of puppets, objects and slides, sometimes a situation explained by the narrator will evoke a music, other times it will be the music that motivates the narrator.

Each character is represented by a flute: Freddy by the piccolo flute, the Old Tree by the Big Bass, the father bird by the tenor and many more… Accompanied by a piano and many percussion instruments (kalimbes, rain sticks, bells, xylophone, etc.).

El Pajarito Freddy was composed as a concert for children, to present the sonorous peculiarities of the instruments of the recorder family. Through a plastic text and the musicality of the piece, it becomes a unit full of fantasy.
