It is the last work of Chilean documentarian Patricio Guzmán, shot in the Atacama Desert. A paradise for astronomers located in northern Chile, but also a hell for the victims of the Augusto Pinochet regime and it was here that the dictator ordered to bury the dissidents. Scientists and family are placed in front of the camera of Guzmán to talk about it .
The film will be presented by the director himself and, after the screening, a symposium will take place. Nostalgia de la luz will be projected at CineCiutat from February 1.
