‘No soy tu gitana’

Teatro del Barrio (Madrid) produces this theatrical dialogue, without pretensions of deconstructing anyone, performed by Silvia Agüero, also in charge of the dramaturgy together with Nüll García, who directs the production.

No soy tu gitana (I'm not your gypsy) is 70 minutes of history, laughter, costume changes, singing, dancing and some cursing. Making the public laugh with the racism of absurd historical laws is the only attempt to reach a common place where gypsies teach you how to make rhythms for tangos and where we are all a little happier.
