Within the Mallorcan imaginary, the figure of the Comte Mal occupies a prominent place. This event recreates the era in which lived the second Count of Formiguera, the seventeenth century, marked by fights between nobles, wars, persecution of xuetes (Jews), the conflict between feudal pretensions of the nobility and the resistance of civilians ... in this context, the Comte Mal represents evil and injustice, heir to the medieval legend of Count Arnau.
This is the atmosphere that conveys La nit del Comte Mal, held in the same place where the story unfolded, the houses of Galatzó.
Xavi Núñez and Aina Zuazaga dramatize the characters, Mariona Forteza provides the music , Miquel Marqués percussion effects and Carlos Garrido, director of the show, the conduction and presentation.
