This year marks the 40th anniversary of the death of Nino Bravo ( 1944-1973 ), a singer from Valencia whose legend grows larger over the years. Songs such as Libre and Un beso y una flor have become anthems also for the younger generations.
Nino Bravo, el musical is a chronological journey through his life and career, which was cut short in a car accident when he was at the top. Fernando Navarrete, one of the leading Spanish television producers, is the head of the artistic side and the song selection has been made by producer Eliseo Peris.
The production combines careful staging with costumes of the seventies and a large screen which projects unpublished images provided by Spanish Television and interviews with composers and friends of Nino Bravo like Augustus Algueró, Juan Carlos Calderón and José Luis Urribari. A band of musicians and singers will put the music and three singers the voice, without imitating the honored artist whom we will be able to hear from the screen.
From September 3 to 5, 2026, Santa Eugènia becomes a large living stage with a new edition of the Mostra d'Arts Cèniques.
