'Christmas in Oz'

For the second year the Circo Alegría returns to Mallorca for Christmas presenting their latest production. Navidades en Oz (Christmas in Oz) is a show devised from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, a children's novel written by L. Frank Baum, converted into a musical in 1939 and now considered a cult film.

At Navidades en Oz Dorothy, the little protagonist is dragged by a tornado and following the yellow brick road toward Emerald City she meets the magical world of the circus.

Thus, the fantastic story of the Wizard of Oz withits characters Dorothy, the Tin Man, Scarecrow and the Lion is melted into a modern circus show with acrobats, aerialists, comedians, singers and contortionists.
