Catalan music and literature engage in a suggestive game of glances in this proposal that combines the reading of fragments of Catalan novels alternating with piano works by Matilde Escalas, Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Frédéric Chopin, Isaac Albéniz, Erik Satie and Felip Pedrell.
Maria Escalas, winner of the 2023 Ciutat de Palma Prize for Catalan novels, acts as presenter and narrator, accompanied on the piano by Francesc Blanco, the show’s musical director.
