'Russian music for string orchestra'

The fourth concert of the 2017-2018 season of the Fundació Studium Aureum is dedicated to the music of Russian composers Piotr Ilich Tchaikovsky and Anton Arensky. It is directed by Carles Ponseti and in it will perform as soloist Dmitry Struchkov (cello) and Ramon Andreu (violin) as concertmaster.

The program consists of:

Half an hour before the concert, the composer Mercè Pons will offer an introductory talk about composers and works.
