These Professional Conferences of the Deià International Music Festival 2025 are held in memory of pianist María Natividad de Santiago, who passed away in 2017.
The title of this 2nd International Symposium of Pianists is La Musa: Women and Their Influence on the World of Classical Piano. It consists of a roundtable discussion and concert, with a program to be confirmed.
Moderated by the pianist and artistic director of the Festival, Alfredo Oyágüez Montero, pianists Antonio Baciero, widower of María Natividad de Santiago, Josep Colom, Eleuterio Domínguez Acevedo, and Miguel Angel Ortega Chavaldas will participate.
The Deià International Music Festival 2025 is celebrated from May 14 to September 24 with concerts in: Son Marroig (Deià), Palau March (Palma), Bodegas Santa Caterina (Sencelles), the Fundació Miró Mallorca and the Deià Cemetery. The pianist Alfredo Oyágüez Montero is the artistic director of the festival.
