Argentine film of 2013 with script and direction by Lucía Puenzo. The action takes place in the summer of 1960, when a German doctor meets, on a trip to Patagonia, an Argentine family with a teenage daughter, Lilith, who is attracted to him.
Little by little, the family is seduced by Dr. Helmut's ways and scientific knowledge, while other people begin to suspect him and investigate his past.
El médico alemán (The German doctor) is screened on DVD in Spanish within the cycle The Jewish World and Cinema, which is part of the 20th European Day of Jewish Culture. Not recommended for children under 16 years.
